A landmark scholarship scheme has been launched for students residing in Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh. Administered by the Ministry of Education, the scheme provides full tuition fee waivers and a monthly stipend of ₹10,000 for students pursuing professional degrees in Engineering, Nursing, and Medical sciences outside the UT. This initiative is part of the PMSSS 2026 expansion to ensure higher education reach for every meritorious student in the valley.
